Closed to traffic, fast, flat one-loop course! No 90-degree turns! Real bathrooms, food and drink afterwards, and still FREE! How can you beat it? The Bottone Mile turns 30 years old in 2024! This is also the 70th anniversary of the first ever sub-4 minute mile by Sir Roger Bannister on May 6, 1954 (3:59.4). How fast can YOU run the mile? Start times: 5:00pm: Bib pickup OPENS (Everyone must check in to get their bib) 5:50pm: Bib pickup CLOSES (Please plan accordingly; we can't allow anyone without a bib to participate) 6:00pm: Childrens' 1/3 Mile Fun Run (approx distance; actual TBD) 6:15pm: 1-Mile event (No 5K)
