I grew up in Noank CT and live in Mystic where my husband James and I raised our three children. My husband built my home studio 15 years ago, it's my dream space. As a glass artist I can combine and translate all aspects of my formal studies into a limitless medium. I am always learning something new and experimenting in my studio.

My subject matter is based on the sea and the human spirit.  My studio is known for creating specialty panels for memorials and custom designs. 

 I bring my smaller work to the ocean to film and photograph, beautifully intertwining my work and photos with what inspires me. I have found my answer for perfect lighting, sound and composition at our local shores.

During breast cancer awareness in October I generate donations for the Lawrence and Memorial Hospital for breast cancer awareness month.

Technical Information:  In my studio I work with vitreous paints, enamels, colored glass, glass frit, silver stain and layered glass.  Each piece is placed in the kiln and painted multiple times for multiple layers of painted glass to create more depth and to control the passage of light. I use a Denver Glass kiln, specifically made for glass fusing and painting.
