Haring's makes New York Times 'Best Restaurant' List

One Connecticut restaurant has made the “New York Times” list of the 50 best places in America in 2025.

Haring’s in Noank is the only Connecticut restaurant to be included in “The Restaurant List.”  

The "New York Times" said Haring’s “is the New England seafood shack you’ve always wanted.”

Haring’s serves oysters, clam fritters, lobster spring rolls and clam chowder  -- both New England and Rhode Island.

They have burgers, lobster grilled cheese and lobster rolls – both hot and cold.

You can also get seared local tuna, steak frites, fish and chips and a steamed lobster platter.

“Dockside on the Mystic River, Haring’s looks like the former marine fueling station and lobster pound that it is: the kind of place where you can put your feet up on the wooden railing, spread some smoked bluefish on Ritz crackers, eat a fried cod sandwich or demolish a succulent steamed lobster,” the review says.
