Basic Drawing and Painting from Observation: This course introduces the fundamentals of drawing and painting from direct observation. Open to all skill levels, it focuses on techniques for creating the illusion of depth, developing spatial awareness, and building strong compositions. Students will draw and paint from a variety of subjects, including still life, costumed figures, and outdoor landscapes (weather permitting). The class begins with drawing and gradually moves into painting, balancing technical skill with personal expression.
