The Lyme Art Association is pleased to celebrate the end of the year with the festive holiday favorite, Deck the Walls. With colder nights and shorter days, this exhibition warms hearts and uplifts spirits by featuring artwork that brings smiles to faces through fun themes, vibrant colors, and playful mediums all while remaining true to LAA’s representational roots. Additionally, a Faripour Forouhar solo show, called A Life’s Journey Through Paintings and 3-D pieces from the Society of CT Sculptors will be on display, and as a special treat for the season, live music will be performed on select weekends during the show’s run.

Running concurrently is Inside Story, which invites viewers into the quiet drama of interior spaces, i.e., the rooms, corners, and thresholds that shape our daily lives. This exhibition explores this world within the walls of real, invented, intimate, expansive, orderly, or chaotic places; and visitors will discover art that evokes a mood, tells a story, and captures the personal, poetic, and psychological spirit of an inner space.
