Description

This workshop guides participants through creating a Halloween-inspired scene within a handcrafted light box. Drawing from classic imagery or original concepts, the process includes designing characters, constructing layered panels, and decorating the box. Using shape, color, and lighting, the workshop explores how visual elements can create mood and narrative, resulting in a unique shadow-based art piece. Participants will build the light box frame, plan and sketch a layered scene, and cut cardstock elements to add depth and detail. The box will be decorated with textured paper or paint to reflect the chosen theme. Once assembled, lighting will be added to enhance shadows and atmosphere, creating a one-of-a-kind art display.
