Description

Drawing is the fundamental building block to fine art. Understanding the key elements to composition, value, form, and perspective gives you the tools to begin creating satisfying work. It is the language to which artists communicate with the mediums they choose to use to create any work of art. This course provides foundational instruction in strong drawing techniques. Through a structured series of exercises, demonstrations, and guided practice, students will gain the skills necessary to begin constructing competent and intentional drawings. The curriculum is designed to support both beginning students and those seeking to reinforce or refine their existing abilities. 5-week series Wednesdays, 9:30am – 12pm November 12 – December 17(No class on November 26) Members $210 / Nonmembers $250.
