Description

In this fun 8-week class, children will design and build their own boats using a variety of materials. They’ll learn how to read simple boat plans, take measurements, and safely use hand tools, all while exploring their creativity. The class introduces students to the history of boatbuilding and the basics of design and construction. Each child will create boats that reflect their personality and connection to the sea, combining art, storytelling, and hands-on building. By learning about maritime traditions, students will build a stronger connection to the sea and their community while having a great time making something all their own! Mondays 1:30pm – 4pm March September 29 – December 1 (No class on October 13 and November 24) Members $225 / Nonmembers $260 Individual classes: Members $30 / Nonmembers $35 All supplies included with registration.
