Rusalka, a renowned Czech opera by Antonin Dvorak, is a tragic fairy tale about a water nymph who sacrifices her voice to a witch, Jezibaba to become human and marry a prince. After he rejects her for a foreign princess, she becomes a cursed sprit, ultimately killing the Prince with a fatal kiss.
