Elyssa Beers and Brian Trubia, owners of Black Velvet Ink, located in Westerly, RI, opened the doors to their tattoo studio shortly after the lockdown of 2020. Starting at the Velvet Mill in Stonington, CT, they proceeded to expand over the years by training and adding more artists to their team that excel at a range of artistic styles. At Black Velvet Ink clients have the opportunity to work one on one with an artist to create a custom design that envisions the client's personality, beliefs, memories, or passions.
