The Mystic Chamber Music Series is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to inspiring and growing audiences of all ages through engagement with chamber music performances in local historic venues. The Mystic Chamber Music Series will expand the musical offerings in southeastern Connecticut while enhancing the quality of its cultural life. We will achieve this by providing accessible and affordable or free concert events for all ages. We will bring together masters of chamber music and new young talent to inspire future generations and foster a love for classical music. Join us for our first concert of the season on January 27th at 7:30 pm at the Mystic Noank Library for a thrilling evening of classical music, "Miniatures”. Cellist Thomas Readett and pianist Sila Senturk will deliver a curated performance of musical vignettes from classical composers throughout the ages, including Bach, Dvorak, Rachmaninoff, and many more. The evening will feature an intimate chamber music recital inspired by the uniquely beautiful storytelling of short-form pieces or "Miniatures" from famous classical composers with a real grand piano situated in the middle of the Spicer Reading Room (the upstairs of the library).
