United Way mobilizes communities to action so all can thrive. For more than six decades, United Way of Southeastern Connecticut has partnered with people, businesses, nonprofits and community leaders to understand and respond to the most pressing needs across New London County. Our mission is to inspire and coordinate the generosity and commitment that sustains a united, thriving community. Through United Way-led initiatives and investments in local programs, we connect people to critical resources and create opportunities for individuals and families to thrive. Our work focuses on four key impact areas: Healthy Community, Financial Security, Youth Opportunity and Community Resiliency.

From increasing access to food and essential services to supporting education, employment, housing stability and stronger communities, we bring partners and resources together to create meaningful, lasting change across Southeastern Connecticut. As part of a global network of United Ways, we also share ideas, resources and proven approaches that strengthen communities locally and around the world.
