For over 75 years, the nonprofit Stonington Community Center - or, as we call it, the COMO - has been a cornerstone of our community and a foundation of our shared civic experience. Today, the COMO is a vibrant hub that offers a diverse range of programs, events, and activities for all ages. From youth athletics and after-school enrichment to racquet sports, creative workshops, and community-wide events, at the COMO, we provide opportunities for our neighbors to grow and challenge themselves physically, creatively, and intellectually, creating happier, healthier, and more connected lives.

Our facilities include tennis and paddle courts, athletic fields, a gymnasium, auditorium, Children's Learning Garden, and a pottery studio, as well as access to local landmarks like duBois Beach. Across from the courts, COMO Thrift Shop, voted #1 Best of the Best, is a strong fundraising arm of the organization. Through its programs and services, the COMO continues to foster a welcoming, engaged, and connected community, positively impacting the lives of thousands each year."
